Spring has Sprung!!

…Well at least it’s STARTING to on the East Coast! …Slowly.

On the heels of much-anticipated Spring, we can’t help but dream about the gorgeous colors that are sure to shine throughout this upcoming season.  As many of you know from our recent Facebook post, Pantone’s Spring 2014 Fashion Color Report says soft pastels and vivid brights are so in this year.

What we’re REALLY loving about these colors though, isn’t totally because they are inspired by a mixture of blooming flowers, and travels abroad. BUT these colors were also inspired by strong, confident women!  We can’t help but get super excited about colors inspired by powerful women such as – Nina Garcia, Creative Director at Marie Claire; Kendra Scott, CEO and Founder of Kendra Scott Jewelry; Stylist Maria Divaris; Senior Fashion Director Saks Fifth Avenue, Colleen Sherin and many other wonderful women.

From the runway to the department store and everywhere in between, I can’t help but notice these gorgeous colors.  It seems as though with every turn I make, I see these pretty pastels and bold brights.  …And each time my eye catches one of these colors, I find myself more and more inspired by the women behind the Fashion Color Report.

With wedding season in full-swing, we want to know if you’ll be incorporating any of these popular colors into your big day.  Will your bridesmaids rock Radiant Orchid, Freesia, Hemlock or Placid Blue?  Will your stationery include any of those colors OR will you opt for Violet Tulip, Paloma or Cayenne?  Will you find a way to incorporate Celosia Orange of Dazzling Blue into your wedding day?

If not your wedding or special event – what about your Spring Wardrobe? I, for one, plan on reviving my closet with a few of these gorgeous colors 🙂

Here’s to Spring Dreaming and to hoping this weekend is one of the last cold ones we’ll have on the East Cost for a very long time 🙂

Happy Spring and Happy Weekend!

XOXO.
